We’re looking for a fantastic Senior Retail Finance Analyst to join our Finance team at our Head Office and play a key role in driving commercial performance and cost control across our retail estate.
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast‑paced retail environment, partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide insight, challenge and direction that supports smarter decision‑making and business growth.
What you’ll do
• Own and manage key retail cost areas, driving strong cost control and visibility
• Deliver monthly P&L reporting with clear variance analysis and actionable insights
• Prepare and review prepayments, accruals, journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, including monthly flash forecasts
• Partner with Area and Store Managers to improve financial performance and decision-making
• Leverage AI and digital tools to enhance analysis, reporting efficiency and insight generation
What you’ll bring
• Experience in a finance or analytical role (retail/FMCG advantageous)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (ACCA/CIMA finalist, qualified or QBE)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle)
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving capability
• Confident communicator with experience business partnering across teams
• Interest in using AI and emerging technologies to support smarter, more efficient ways of working
