Ecommerce Insight Analyst

The purpose of this role is to support the Ecommerce team with data driven insights to inform commercial decisions. This role will have responsibility for managing weekly and monthly reporting, as well as collecting data on site performance, customers and the market to deliver actionable insights, reports and presentations.

This is a full time, permanent position based at our Head Office in High Wycombe, Bucks. 

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Owning weekly and monthly reporting, and ensuring reports are updated in line with deadlines
  • Being responsible for post campaign analysis, reviewing findings and presenting findings and insights to the business
  • Supporting the Trading team with accurate data analysis to drive commercial performance in line with KPI’s
  • Creating reports to support the eCommerce team in achieving their KPI’s, ensuring these provide key information and improve efficiencies
  • Managing, designing and maintaining existing reports
  • Working closely with other Analysts across the business to share relevant information, supporting a culture of collaboration and creating a 360 view of performance
  • Supporting the Trading and Insight Manager by providing focused insights to the business
  • Creating and sharing presentations of complex data concisely with strong actions and insights to highlight business opportunities
  • Evaluating performance and market trends, whilst using data analysis to provide recommendations
  • Maintaining strong awareness of both online and in store performance and who our customer segments are
  • Utilise on site analytic reporting systems to measure and understand customer behaviour on site, and using these to make recommendations where appropriate
  • Adopting a customer obsessed approach, using data to ensure we are delivering a best in class experience to our customers

What you’ll need:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
  • The ability to analyse large data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Confidence in working across a range of data sources
  • Demonstrable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence where necessary
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Competent in using all Microsoft Office applications
  • Competent in using Google Analytics
