The purpose of this role is to ensure employee reward and benefits remain compelling, competitive and drive employee engagement across Stores, Head Office and the Warehouse.    Ensure that all benefits are managed and administered correctly in line with Group policy and legislative requirements. 

We are looking for someone who is a passionate about HR and healthcare, pension, discount schemes, bonus schemes and how they link to overall employee engagement.  A big piece of the role will be planning and executing projects and the ideal candidate might currently be a benefits administrator or HR coordinator  who is looking to develop a diverse and varied role within HR reward & benefits.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
Manage and update the reward area of The Perfume Shop’s online People portal on a day to day basis, ensuring all content remains accurate, interesting and up to date
Maintain the employee membership of current benefit schemes on a monthly basis
Administer the staff discount schemes (The Perfume Shop and Superdrug)
Promote The Perfume Shop’s and AS Watson employee discount schemes and ensure The Perfume Shop accesses all wider group benefits (eg mobile through Three).Ensure any additional benefits associated with current providers (eg Pension scheme), are made available to employees
Administer and manage The Perfume Shop’s current online “perks” provider ensuring this benefit is promoted to employees to increase participation levels
Liaise with the Retail Trust to ensure that we are utilising the available benefits.Manage and analyse relevant usage date to ensure The Perfume Shop employees are getting good benefit and promote the Retail Trust to increase participation levels
Promote The Perfume Shop’s personal pension scheme to all employees, creating an understanding of the benefits of a pension scheme and liaising with the pension provider and group office when required
Research current best practice and propose bonus schemes for all aspects of the business on an annual basis
Actively support the wider People team with the annual pay review process
Support AS Watson Group tender meetings for new or renewed benefits, and liaise with the wider AS Watson group on shared benefits when required such as the Pension Scheme
Review previous engagement results and feedback to ensure that the reward and benefits offering is appropriate and to improve employee engagement scores in relation to a “fair deal” for all employees
Ensure that an annual reward and benefits calendar is in place across the business
Produce reports, analysis and feedback surrounding the effectiveness and impact of reward and benefits at The Perfume Shop to ensure they remain fit for purpose
Be aware of modern benefit trends and stay up to date with current thinking and proactively make suggestions for relevant benefits through regular research, networking and attending relevant events
Research market trends and available data in relation to minimum wage legislation and wage inflation and prepare accurate summaries support the pay review process

Good knowledge of a wide range of benefits and reward eg bonus, maternity, childcare vouchers, pension schemes, health care, length of service, employee recognition schemes, and tax efficient schemes eg cycle to work, salary sacrifice pensions
Knowledge of relevant up to date employment legislation

Excellent research skills
Numerical skills and an ability to interpret data with an excellent attention to detail
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
Good communication skills in person, and can produce good standard written communication
Organised and able to undertake administrative tasks accurately
Good MS Office Skills
Ability to put together presentations and present
