Reward Analyst:

Purpose of the role summary 
Working together with the Head of People to deliver an effective reward and benefits strategy promoting TPS as an attractive, modern and inclusive retailer and with a relevant employee offering across the Regions, Head Office and the Warehouse.    

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Actively support the “Fair Deal” column of the Best Companies pillars to ensure that the survey scores improve year on year and employee retention rates improve 
• Drive the annual pay review for stores working with the HR Manager Operations and the HR Analyst to ensure that pay rates are market aligned and competitive.  Prepare pay proposals for discussion with the Director of People & Development, Director of Sales and Operations and Head of People
• Design and develop annual Company bonus schemes for Head Office, Warehouse and Retail Operations 
• Ensure that an annual reward and benefits calendar is in place across the business with a balance between a new and refreshed benefits offering
• Manage the total benefit offer, ensuring it is competitive in the market place and relevant to employees including healthcare, pension, life assurance, TPS Perks, employee discounts, length of service
• Ensure that the total Rewards offering is suitable for access via a digital platform and contribute to the design and implementation of the digital transformation project 
• Ensure that Pensions are managed in line with legislation and promoting best value for members of the Scheme(s) 
• Actively manage each Account (eg Aviva, JLT) to ensure that TPS is getting best value, establishing a good working relationship with each provider with regular reviews
• Act as a liaison between the AS Watson Group Office and other AS Watson companies to ensure that TPS is gaining from best practice and sharing ideas 
• Develop new reward and benefit processes and programs to meet business needs in line with the AS Watson group and ensure competitiveness 
• Ensure that reward and benefits are externally benchmarked to ensure that TPS remains an employer of choice 
• Analyze the effectiveness and impact of reward and benefits to ensure the offering remains competitive and fit for purpose 
• Manage and develop a rewards platform which maximizes the ability to effectively communicate reward and benefits including maximizing the new digital solution 
• Provide cover for the HR Manager and the People Services Manager as appropriate/needed
• Liaise with other HR and The Perfume Shop teams to ensure delivery of effective and efficient support to Head Office, Warehouse and stores
• Lead and/or support various HR or business projects
• Keep up to date on relevant changes in legislation and apply to role, as well as sharing knowledge with the HR Manager and wider HR Team.
• Keep knowledge up to speed of reward and benefits by attending briefings and national events where relevant

• Experienced HR professional likely to be CIPD qualified to Level 7 and must have sound demonstrable HR technical/legal knowledge gained in commercial or across sectors 
• Experience of managing projects / project management skills 
• Knowledgeable and skilled in reward and benefits with ability to demonstrate commercial thinking 
• Previous experience of having worked within a faced paced Retail environment
• Experience of creating and implementing new policies gaining the buy in and approval of key stakeholders in the business 

• Knowledge of HR information System such as Oracle or other data systems would be an advantage
• Up-to-date and thorough knowledge of employment legislation 
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential as some travel will be required

• Knowledgeable and skilled in employee relations with ability to demonstrate commercial thinking 
• Able to demonstrate a track record of delivery of outcomes which drive business performance
• Excellent communication skills with evidence of building great working relationships through business partnering
• Good MS Office Skills and some experience of having used a HRIS
• Ability to put together presentations and present 
• The ability to produce clear and comprehensive written communications 
• Ability to influence
• Excellent investigative skills 
• Able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail 
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and juggle priorities
