The purpose of this role is to develop and implement The Perfume Shop’s partnership and new business strategy by forming innovative and exciting relationships to expand our reach to new audiences and driving sales growth. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Be responsible for developing, defining and implementing the partnership and new business strategy
• Identify new development opportunities for The Perfume Shop, including but not limited to our store portfolio such as pop-up stores, selling via third party retailers, and expanding our gift card proposition
• Recognise new deals and offers to support campaigns, CRM members and our eCommerce website, ensuring you communicate these via partnerships where possible 
• Continually identify business development opportunities to build new benefits and value for our customers 
• Take accountability for recognising new revenue streams and opportunities 
• Negotiate with third parties when required, ensuring you utilise influencing skills to maximise new opportunities and profitability 
• Be responsible for presenting partnership proposals in an effective manner to gain buy-in from senior managers and The Perfume Shop’s Leadership team, ensuring you clearly report on how these changes will benefit the business
• Develop and finalise service level agreements for all new partnerships, ensuring you liaise with the Legal team to gain sign off
• Take accountability for the ongoing management of The Perfume Shop’s partnerships, ensuring you continually review and build on relationships
• Run and analyse reports on productivity rates and the return on investment, ensuring you share insight with the wider Customer and Experience team and business where required, making recommendations to ensure The Perfume Shop is at the forefront of the retail industry

• Previous experience in a similar role, having worked with third parties 
• Experience of having worked in the retail industry 
• A proven track record of new business development 
• Previous experience of delivering strategies 

• Good commercial understanding of the retail industry 
• Good understanding of all aspects of marketing 

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels 
• Proven ability to influence others at all levels 
• Strong project management skills
