The purpose of this role is to manage and co-ordinate store replenishment and eCommerce order fulfilment, overseeing all day to day activities and leading the warehouse team to achieving KPI’s. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that all Operational Procedures are adhered to and health and safety requirements are met, whilst supporting the planning and development of the function in line with our sales strategy.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

 •Provide a daily dashboard report of key KPI’s within the Warehouse including pick rates, pick accuracy, replenishment, put away and track progress of order fulfilment
•Conduct monthly reporting on the store replenishment and the eCommerce fulfilment function performance and present to the Logistics Operations Manager & Head of Logistics for updates to the Leadership Team
•Manage the team to deliver continuous improvement of service levels, KPI’s and processes including performance against budget, pick fulfilment, pick productivity and error rates, shrinkage and stock take results
•Monitor performance and identify and resolve any issues promptly escalating if needed to the relevant Department and ensuring the Logistics Operations Manager is aware 
•Continuously identify and take the lead on implementing improvements to ensure we service our stores and delight our online Customer
•Maintain high standards of Health and Safety at all times in line with Company Policy ensuring compliance with current legislation and actively promote Health and Safety awareness within team
•Contribute to the Logistics and Ecommerce strategy, including the development of KPI’s
•Clearly communicate and manage the change process when implementing continuous improvement strategies, including but not limited to leading and motivating the whole Warehouse team in achieving goals
•Manage the store replenishment and eCommerce fulfilment costs and hours required as outlined in the budget, challenging performance and looking for year on year improvement
•Ensure there is a strong working relationship with Single Resource so that resourcing needs are met 
•Contribute to the planning for the effective delivery of peak periods including Christmas 
•Build effective partnerships and liaise regularly with relevant Head Office departments to ensure the Warehouse is fully prepared for all promotional and seasonal activity
•Ensure consumables and non-stock levels are maintained to meet replenishment and online order demand by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
•Ensure appropriate equipment levels are maintained to meet requirements of the fulfilment operation
•Provide management cover for the Logistics Operations Manager’s absence

People Management 
•Manage the recruitment, induction, training, development and motivation of employees, both permanent and seasonal temporaries and carry out regular performance appraisals
•Provide the Warehouse teams with day to day management support
•Take ownership for conducting regular one to one meetings and appraisals for your direct reports in a timely manner, setting clear and achievable objectives whilst ensuring development plans are in place 


Knowledge 
•Knowledge of retail warehouse operational procedures on an end-to-end basis (goods-in to despatch) – for both store and customer fulfilment
•Understanding of supply chain systems – WMS and ERP
•Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety, employment and data protection law and how can be applied in an operational context
•A keen interest and understanding of the fine fragrance market

Skills
•Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel 
•Team leadership and management skills including but not limited to objective setting, talent and development planning and effective disciplinary and grievance management
•Financial literacy sufficient to understand budget management
•Effective interpersonal and communication skills – including the ability to effectively influence and motivate others within the warehouse operation
•Ability to work well under pressure and to make sound judgement calls about how multiple competing priorities should be addressed
•Excellent skills in operational workload planning and the ability to use external data to develop robust plans for the short, medium and long-term

Desirable
Experience 

•Operational retail experience is highly desirable
•Previous experience of working in multi-user warehouse environments 
•Understanding or experience of store operations management
•Understanding or experience of distribution and transport management
•Experience of working in highly seasonal warehouse operations
